For those of you that haven't it is an MTV reality tv show that follows the personal life of Lauren Conrad as she moves to Los Angeles. You may ask, who the hell is Lauren Conrad? The Hills follows Lauren Conrad as she moves up to the Hollywood Hills to pursue a new life away from Laguna Beach. It's a reality television show that is real but producers have admitted to setting the scene, or as MTV like to call it, "scenes are created for dramatic effect." I do believe most of the emotions and the goings on are real and the feelings are true. I think what they mean by that is sometimes they have them sitting eating at tables and that obviously needs a bit of setting up and the conversations they have are perhaps prompted to see what they feel about things.
