Newest Review: ... not sound like much, but the original film was made terrifying thanks to Hauer's excellent performance in the lead role, and some postmodern ideas about the nature of the genre. This sequel is by the numbers, though, and doesn't really add anything new. The original film has aged fairly well, and so one wonders why they even had to bother remaking it if not for the sake of being a crude cash-in. Bean is fun in the titular role, though, and you can tell he relishes playing the bad guy. There... more
