How do I cam e across with this movie? I recently watched this animated movie through TV's Disney Channel. And this movie is actually far too long since it was once that famous. And I was amazed by the movie. From one, this movie is different from others because it didn't show perfections like other movie. It is of Hunchback. The main character is not a perfect physically. This make him have a very hard life...plus he had respected his MASTER so faithfully until he believe things his MASTER said. Here we can see how things work even in a small town like that. And peace only will come when we open our heart to accept all things with a kind ... Read the complete review

This sugar-coated cartoon version of Hugo's classic novel, is pleasant fare, I would say 'for children', except I enjoyed it immensely, and I'm probably a bit older than the target age-group. Briefly, it treads the well-worn path of telling the story of Quasimodo, resident of the bell tower of Notre Dame, kept in check by the evil bishop, Frollo, while he take the small opportunity to venture into the outside world, he meets and, of course, falls in love with the beautiful, kind-hearted gypsy, Esmarelda. Esmeralda, meanwhile, falls in love with Phoebus, whilst Frollo lusts after her (interestingly presented, considering it is for Disney). ... Read the complete review

This film is suited to everyone and is well made Disney film as they all are, it centres around Quasimoda who is the bell ringer of the Cathedral which happens to be called Notre Dame. He never steps outside of the castle because of his looks but one day he does and what happens next is inevitable. Quasimoda falls in love with a beautiful gypsy, however with any relationship there are complications and this is no different, even if it DISNEY. Esmerelda falls in love with someone else called Phoebus who happens to be The Knight, whilst the bishop at the Cathedral who prevented Quasimodo from doing anything, he also has his eyes on someone. This modern classic, by Disney is as fantastic as it's predecessors. Full of colour, warmth, vigour and moral, it brings to life the life of Quasimodo - The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's quite nice, for a change, to have an imperfect leading role. Usually, in classic Disney style, there's the gorgeous princess or dashing princes it's nice for the hero to be heroic for their actions. So, who is the film suited to? Well, pretty much everyone! Of course, children in particular but as Disney films usually are, everyone loves to watch them. No particular 'scary' scenes spring to mind to be unsuitable for very young viewers and so on the whole, it's pretty fabulous ... Read the complete review

I think even Victor Hugo would appreciate the disney's adaptation of his story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, quasimodo. A typical Disney style to capture a tale and make it fun, exciting and suitable for all ages. It the story is well structured and begins by, of course introducing the characters and suppling the back ground of the story before the film begins. We see how quasimodo becomes imprisioned by the bell tower and why his master keeps him there. Has the normal characters you would expect to see in a disney film. The baddy-lord frlol his master, the good guy-quasimodo himself, the beautiful woman-esmarelda (played by deni moore) and the ... Read the complete review
