**The Inbetweeners**
For those of you who don't know who they are let me explain. Initially this was a series on Chanel 4. It ran for three series, all of which were extremely funny. It followed four young boys at sixth form as they went about their daily lives. There was Will. He was the new boy who had previously gone to a private school. He had glasses, wore a blazer and had a briefcase. Then there was Simon. He in my opinion is the most normal of the four. Although he is crazy in love with a girl named Carly and tries anything in his power to impress her. This includes gelling his hair so much that he looks like the statue of liberty. Neil, he was the group idiot. He never got a joke and was always the source of them. But he could dance. Just. Then finally Jay. He is a chronic lair, with a filthy mouth and dodgy hair.
**The Film Plot**
Just like any young group of lads who have just finished their exams the Inbetweeners head of for a boy's holiday. Simon had just been dumped and Will's dad got remarried and did not invite him, a perfect excuse for excessive drinking and pulling girls. The boys get themselves in to a lot of trouble on their travels, meet a group of four young ladies and get extremely drunk. I'll leave it there as I do not want to ruin the end.
**The Extras**
These were so funny. It included the making of the film, what the cast and crew did when they were meant to be rehearsing, bloopers and so much more. It included numerous interviews with the guys form the film as well as the additional cast and the writers/crew. The footage was over 2 hours long if I recall and when you are sitting up late to watch them, they do tend to blur in to one. I would recommend watching these to any Inbetweeners fan as you get to learn more about the series and the actors.
**My Opinion**
I loved the series and was expecting great things from the film. I did enjoy the film but thought it would be funnier. The guys who play the Inbetweeners lads acting were brilliant. If you remember the diving scene and the suicide shot scene then I rest my case. The actresses who played the four girls the boys met on holiday were perfect. They were fun, pretty and seemed to put up with nonsense on set. There were a number of scenes that really made me laugh, almost to the point of crying, which is always a good sign. I just hope they do another film.
Summary: A great film to laugh out loud to
