The series has improved upon the first series and the cast are more confident in there characters. even the smaller roles are fleshed out and funny with Will's mum being a highlight. Premium Review The Inbetweeners - Series 2 (DVD): Best series of the cult comedy show (331 words)

Rating:

Series 1 of this show was probably 4 out of 5 stars - very funny, but occasionally too silly for my liking. With season 2, they've tightened it up, and come up with some absolutely hilarious scenes. The characters are now well established, as is Will in his new school, so it's time to make the comedy even better. The show is all about a group of A Level students in an inner city school. They are your typical lads, interested in nothing but sex and alcohol, and the comedy revolves around the different mix-ups they get into in pursuit of these goals. The characters are a real mix, and that makes it so funny. The narrator of the show is the posh boy ...  Read the complete review

This is a review of the excellent Series 2 of The Inbetweeners, who are a group of 4 lads who basically are just not cool, but equally aren't nerds either, they are inbetween. They are currently at their comprehensive school 6th form and spend much of their time trying to either improve their social standing or trying to get with girls. The show is very juvenile but I'm 30 (very soon) and me and all my mates love it. As there is a separate category for the show I'll briefly introduce the characters. Will (arguably the main character) has had to switch schools over the summer from a private school to an ordinary comprehensive. He is the most nerdy ...  Read the complete review

REVIEW OF THE INBETWEENERS SERIES TWO DVD This is an updated/adapted review from my own on ciao as dtait07 ***BRIEF HISTORY*** The Inbetweeners is a bafta nominated British Sitcom created by Damon Beesley (Flight of the Conchords) and Iain Morris (Peep Show) that follows the life and times of four teenage boys in the school sixth form. In the first series Will (played by Simon Bird) suffers the pain of his parents divorce by having to move from his private education to join Rudge Park Comprehensive. It is here he meets Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison). The four boys together aren't quite fully paid up ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Inbetweeners...says it all. (542 words)

After watching the first series and enjoying it immensely I was worried the second series would not be able to match its standard. But series 2 goes above and beyond its predecessor. The comedy still revolves around four mis-fit friends trying to get laid and fit in with the popular crowd. Ok...a scenario ''done to death'' but this British comedy is believable, very funny and its cast of young actors are brilliant. Series 2 gives us more of an insight into the main characters; Will, Simon, Jay and Neil. Each character is very different but equally funny and the essence of what makes this comedy so funny. The Inbetweeners is a hilarious look at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Inbetweeners - Series 2 (DVD): A story of the geeks at school (236 words)

This has to be one of the funniest tv shows ive seen in a long time. Nearly every episode has me crying from laughing so much. I have to admit though, it isnt a show for everyone and you do need to have a certain sense of humour. The show follows a group of 4 friends in sixth form college. Unlike most teen shows around where everyone is beautiful and popular, this certainly isnt the case anymore. Will, the exchange student has made some friends, who are just as much geeks and losers as he is! Series 2 was my favourite. The stories were a lot funnier than before and we get a bit more insight into the characters' lives. The main ...  Read the complete review
