The Italian Job made in 1969 is atrue British classic and one of the best at that. It is the kind of movie you always see put on at christmas and always make a point of sitting down and wtching along with many other of the classic christmas time films like Zulu. The story follows Charlie Croker (Michael Caine) who has recently got out of prison off on his next big job set to him by and supported by the criminal mastermind Mr Bridger. When me and my hubby saw an advert on the TV for the new version of the Italian Job he commented how it was not a patch on the original. To his amusement and surprise I told him that I had not seen either versions. We decided to get the original on DVD. The film stars Michael Caine who plays Charlie Croker.
