Advantages: the ability to make what some see as an awkward topic into an enjoyable tv series

Disadvantages: Jenny being a drama queen

I was a late starter when it came to becoming a fan of this great Lesbian hit tv series! I was only introduced to the programme by some friends when the show was already well into season 3 but so many friends of mine loved it and if Im honest I only decided to watch it so I too could join in their conversations which could last hours at a time!

I was hooked within minutes of watch the first episode of the first season. You are welcomed into the lifes of a group of Lesbian friends living and loving the LA lifestyle. The first series sees Jenny, a hetrosexual neighbour of Bette and Tina be converted to the girls way of thinking! Jenny originally moved into the area with boyfriend Tim and was longing to achieve her goal of writing a sucessful book. During the first season however Jenny begins to spend more time with next door neighbours Bette, Tina and their friends and quickly falling into bed with another woman, ending things for her and Tim.

However, enjoy Jenny in this season as she becomes a little bit more weird, scary and darn right drama queen! Enjoy the extraordinary love life for Shayne, Alices buzzing little voice and watch as Tina and Bette become mums for the first time!

Summary: Id be surprised if you dont get hooked by the first season!
