A flat, rather mannered comedy about prototype yuppies in the dying days of the disco era. Like other Whit Stillman movies, it's filmed in a cold style, with endless dialogue and virtually nothing happening. There's no real story, other than the experiences of a circle of graduate friends from upscale Eastern universities (including Chloe Sevigny, Kate Beckinsale, Chris Eigeman, Mackenzie Austin).
