This is a very good film, well i say very good it would be if you dont watch the last 20 minutes. This is the sequel to jurassic park 1993 dinosaur chaos film adapted from the book by Michael Cricton. Jeff Goldblum reprises his role as chaotician Ian Malcolm with a breif reprise off Richard Attenburough. Ian malcom is hurded back to the island on the back of the info that John hammond has sent his girlfreind Sarah Hardy out to Site B all alone. Ian malcolm turns the team sent to the island orginally sent to document and observe the dinosaurs in their natural habitat into a rescue mission. The two other members of the team Eddie carr and Nick Van Owen are sympathetic to ... Read the complete review

(film only review) What’s it about? ---------------------- A group of scientists go to a remote island where the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park were bred. Unknown to them, a second team has also been sent for far more sinister purposes. Who’s in it? ---------------- The only two survivors from the original film are Richard Attenborough in a brief reprise of his role as Dr John Hammond and Jeff Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcolm. Attenborough is still saddled with a ridiculous accent and, in the four years between films, has undergone an unlikely transformation (as Malcolm comments) from capitalist to conservationist. It’s a good job ... Read the complete review

Following the phenomenal success of the original Jurassic Park movie in 1993, it was inevitable that studio execs began to see dollar signs everywhere and so the sequel to JP - The Lost World (also from a novel penned by Michael Crichton) was green lit and hit the big screen in 1997. The problem with making a sequel to a film as enormous as the first Jurassic Park movie was that it would be one hell of a tough act to follow... and The Lost World ALMOST pulled it off. It just lacked that certain something that had made the original movie so unique - possibly the fact that we had seen it all before to a degree. Steven Spielberg was back in the ... At my last visit to the cinema, as I walked in I noticed a poster heralding the imminent arrival of 'Jurassic Park III'. I therefore thought that now was an appropriate time to write a couple of opinions about its predecessors - 'Jurassic Park' and 'The Lost world'. Every single review I have read of 'The Lost world' says it is not as good as 'Jurassic Park'. I agree. It is not as good. It is better! I wasn't particularly impressed with 'Jurassic Park', but the sequel was a different matter. I'm perfectly aware that I'm in the minority here (I've only ever met one person who agrees with me on this!) ... Read the complete review

Having seen Jurrassic Park at the cinema,I was slightly wary that on DVD the effects would somewhat be squashed on a smaller screen. As with the sheer scale needed with a film of this kind you could never beat seeing on a huge cinema screen to bring out the best of it. I was pleasantly surprised when My partner bought the two disc dvd box set of Jurrassic Park and the lost world in the wide screen version. The widescreen version was better than I thought,I was expecting to see only the top or bottom half of say the tyranasaurus bearing in mind the size of Him to put on a smaller screen, but He was all there as were all the others, full size. ...
