The Matrix is one of the greatest films ever to hit this world, or are we even in a world? After all, we could be just rigged up to a computer program to provide power for some robots! Oops, I just gave the whole story away!

No, seriously, The Matrix is an excellent film. It combines great acting and spectacular special effects with a dedicated storyline. Although, sometimes the stunts can be a little bit far fetched, and the sounds of the fighting scenes are obviously exaggerated.

The story is a little bit complicated. You will only understand the beginning once you have seen the middle, but it all falls into place sooner or later.

I rented it on VHS first, and liked it so much I bought the DVD straight away.

I would recommend it to anyone, especially people who have a basic knowledge of computers, are interested in science fiction, or have nothing to do this Saturday!

Either way, make sure you see this film, and if you have, you will be pleased to know there is a sequel on the role for next year.
