Advantages: Great new story line that really follows on well as a sequel.

The Mummy Returns is the brilliant sequel to the original Mummy film. I really couldn't wait for the release of this film after having enjoyed the original so much. I really did find this film to be absolutely brilliant yet again and possibly even better than the original! I loved how they kept the same theme and once again had an excellent set. The film was just as exciting as it was before with some truly brilliant action scenes that will keep you well entertained throughout! I thought that the film was generally very good and I really would recommend it, especially if you are a fan of the original.

The film is this time about Rick O Connel who has now married Evelyn and now they are living in London, 9 years since the original was set. The corpse of Imhotep is found in the British museum however, and so the mummy is once again reserected. The O Connel's find themselves in an adventure that is more important and dangerous than ever. I really did like the story line and I think it is a great addition to the original.

The film stars Brendan Fraser and John Hannah who really are exceptional in the film and it really gave the film the quality that it needed. I thoguht the film had another very well suited soundtrack that tied in well with the film in general. I also really thought that the overall quality of production was once again and I loved how well it followed on as a sequel film. I hope this was useful and thank youu very much for reading this.
