Having seen The Mummy last week at the cinema , I expected it to be excellent and it was the best film at I have seen . I had heard that it was all effects and no plot but that is complete rubbish. The 8 year old boy in it is extremely clever and when he gets kidnapped he leaves pictures of where he's going in the sand. The film is very funny and when the mum and dad find the chest containing the scorpion bracelet, it says "whoever opens the chest will drink from the nile". The mum says "it doesnt sound that bad". The whole river comes into the place.
The effects are absolutely suberb. They really create a place as though you are actually there. You dont even need 3D glasses!
It mixes the scary with the funny to create sparks of brilliance. I think it is the movie of the year. The mummy 2 is the best film ever.
