We have just hired The Mummy on Sky Box Office, and we thought it was just brilliant light entertainment. If you want something that you dont have to concentrate on too deeply for the plot, this is it! Good fun!
The story is basically about three adventurers discovering the lost city of Hamunaptra, releasing an evil mummy, and trying to defeat it.
It has all the elements you could want for an entertaining Saturday night. Brilliant special effects, romance, action, suspense, and humour. There are times when it is very tongue in cheek in deed, and I think it works very well as a spoof, send up, action film.
