... With Miyagi being Miyagi he decides to take her under his wing as he did with Daniel-san in the first movie. Pat Morris acts very similar to previous roles and you can tell that he isn't tired of his role as Miyagi. Unfortunately there aren't many of his witty lines that used to leave Larusso speechless. This is the final instalment of the Karate Kid series released in 1994, ten years after the original was brought to us. Mr Miyagi (Pat Morita) makes a return but his original student Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) doesn't which I was sad to see. The series has been built on their evolving relationship and adventure so it is interesting to see what direction this goes in. The beginning of the movie without spoiling the plot sees Miyagi being introduced to his new student after witnessing an argument between a grandmother and her granddaughter.
