Advantages: Brilliant acting from Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling

Disadvantages: Not one

based on Nick Sparkes best selling novel this is a truely moving story. It evolves around a man reading back a story to a lady at the elderly home where they both reside. the story is about two teenagers from different walks of life Noah (ryan Gosling) is from a poor working class background whilst Ali (Rachel McAdams) is from a rich background. this is set before world war one. The two teenagers fall in love over the summer but are torn apart by Ali's parents who believe that Noah is no good for her and that he will only hold her back. Years pass and Ali gets engaged to 'someone more suitable' meanwhile having lost his best friend whilst fighting in the war Noah dedicates his life to building a dream home that Ali described durimg their summer together. This makes the papers and Ali against her better judgement goes and sees Noah.....

From there....many revelations get revealed and it comes to light that Ali's mum was once in the same situation as her daughter, she gives Ali the 365 letters that Noah promised to write which she has intercepted and leave Ali with the choice.....

this story really is beautiful! and i wont reveal the best part. I do honestly really recommed you watch the film. Its really heartbreaking and the ending is perfect in so many ways!

Summary: Truely moving story.
