Advantages: Its a spooky plot with a twist

The others is a rather creepy thriller about a young woman whos husband is missing in the war,the children have a rare illness and she keeps them out of the sunlight in a rather strict existance,until a trio of servents turn up to offer there services.
Starring Nicole kidman one thing you can be sure of is whatever you think is going on isnt,this is a film of tricks and misconceptions andit keeps you on your toes all the way through,i thought it was rather scary in places although it never uses gore or blood to make its point.It has a bit of a shocking conclusion when you realise what is happrning to the charecters and it is completley enjoyable,i would recomend this film to people who have enjoyed signs and sixth sense, the sort of films with twists in there tales.
This is a sentimental and compelling story and id recomend it for all dvd collections
