The others is one hell of a film I got addicted to it because it was just the mysterious ways of the children and even the mother (kidman) plus who are these new people in the house they have let in. The story well what I can pick up at the beginning is the mother's husband has gone to war she is left with 2 children who cannot be exposed to sunlight or they will die. Three weird people come in and are like servants sort of thing and it carryts on from there where the girl can see ghosts and teases her little brother and gets in trouble but eventually she sees its the truth and has to fight for her survival a really great movie In my opinion similar to Sixth sense but walks all over it.

The charactors are quite old fashioned obviously set in the past you can tell but are surprised about the way the film has done such a great job setting it in the past.

The atmosphere is also brilliant it is set mainly in the dark so a tense atmosphere. The keypoint to get the film moving is when we hear about a ghost called victor which her mother and little brother don't believe in. Is he really there if so a ghost??? If you don't know you better watch it

I think it is a excellent film a must for any ghost story fan.
