Hilary Duff stars in this gentle little comedy romance which is a delightful movie and quite an enjoyable vieing experience. Duff plays Holly Hamilton who sets out to find her rather eccentric and very erratic single mother the perfect guy in order that she can settle down and enjoy life. Her mother played by Heather Locklear goes though boyfriends at an alarming rate and every time she thinks that she has found "the one" she gets dumped heavily only to then move onto the next bloke in line which often means moving town something that the young Holly is fed up of.

In a slightly complicated plot Holly ends up impersonating on the phone an Uncle of one of her friends in order to draw her mother away from an unsuitable suitor and this is where things get really complicated.

There are some nice light hearted moments in this film however it does have its serious side as well and as such it makes for an enjoyable film that works really well.

The acting is pretty good and mother / daughter combination Duff and Locklear work well together and have some chemistry on screen tat makes the rather complicated plot all the more believable.

A nice gentle film to watch and well worth looking out for.
