Not being a particular fan of horror movies, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Although I wouldn't necessarily class it under the genre 'horror', it was certainly a disturbing film, which left you shivering long after it had finished! I watched this film after having read the novel and was very dubious about its suitability to be made into a film.
