About this film:
A preacher is struggling to keep his church alive. with bills to pay and boilers breaking down down the Pastor is down on his luck and all just days before christmas; he asks God for help. An Angel called Dudley (Washington) lands on his doorstep ready to help. However Dudley seems to create more trouble than good when he befriends the preachers wife (Houston). This film is the embodiement of charm, hope and kindness.

Im watching this film right now!!! So christmassy and utterly lovely!!! Who will like this film: Whitney Houston fans will love this film as she does quite a bit of singing. Also those of you just looking for a feel good film set around christmas time. Director: Penny Marshall, who also directed of A league of their own (1992) and Big (1988).
