This is a review of the Columbia Pictures DVD. 'The Professionals' is a Western made in 1966, starring Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan and Woody Strode. These four actors play the aforementioned 'professionals', a bunch of experts in their fields; guns, explosives, horses and tracking. They are hired by wealthy rancher J.W Grant [Ralph Bellamy] to rescue his wife Maria [Claudia Cardinale] from the clutches of Mexican revolutionary Jesus Raza [Jack Palance].
