One comic book movie makes big bucks and soon they’re all coming out of the woodwork. Now I’ve enjoyed the likes of Spiderman, Hulk etc because I’m familiar with the characters although not in a rabid fanboy way. The Punisher is from the Blade family of Marvel comics, he’s a dark character certainly not out to save the day with his superpowers. In fact The Punisher has nothing super about him. All movies that use revenge as a starting point for mass killing and ingenious ways to dispose of people that murdered your family. Revenge is a great plot device because the audience will always forgive the main character for doing what he is doing - so if you want to murder some pimps like Charles Bronson, then you are well within your rights to do so.
