The Rage: Carrie 2 is the 1999 sequel to the classic, 1976 horror film, Carrie. The film is 104 minutes long and rated 15 due to strong language, strong graphic violence and some sexuality. After Bates High School was burnt down (in the first film) another has been built and now has a new bunch of students. This sequel focuses on Rachel Lang who is quite like Carrie White, very much an outside with only one close friend, Lisa. Rachel lives unhappily in foster care because her real mother is in a mental institute. A traumatic experience awakens Rachel's telekinesis, something that she really doesn't know how to handle. At the same time, some of the ... Read the complete review

Here is yet another of my Amazon bargains - the sequel to the 1976 Carrie, which I previously reviewed just the other day. It's one that I just had to get as I had seen it a few years ago and enjoyed it, and it was only £5.97 on Amazon when I was buying Carrie, so I just bought both of them. And so on to the review itself .... ~~~Synopsis~~~ Welcome back to Bates High School. It is a new school, built after the original school was burnt to the ground after Carrie White's fatal prom night. Rachel Lang (Emily Bergl) is your typical teenage girl. She has her best friend Lisa Parker (Mena Suvari) and they have matching tattoos! Rachel is in ... Read the complete review

The Rage: Carrie 2 is the sequel to Brian De Palma’s 1976 adaptation of the Stephen King novel known as Carrie. The original is one of the more famous of horror movies and yet it was never really very good to be honest, all the action as it were appearing in the final 20 minutes after a long, protracted and frankly boring build up. None of the characters were developed above anything other than the bare minimum and the ‘bad guys’ were just cartoonish charicatures set up to die. Yet it was the underlying theme of sexual awakening and anger unleashing a girl’s telekinetic abilities to savage effect that made the movie what it was and the final orgy . Read the complete review

Wowsers, this is a GRRREEEAAATTT film, I REALLY enjoyed it, and think I will purchase it at some point in the future! Its similar in some ways to the original classic film Carrie, which is only to be expected, but it has a entertaining plot, and some great effects. Some of the scenes made me wince quite sharply, and Im having trouble forgetting them, that to me is the mark of a good scene I thought the scene with the CD's was hilarious, finally a use for Free AOL and Compuserve CD's, I wont spoil it by describing it any more, or even describing the pool scenes, watch it to find out! There are many unexpected, sudden events in ... Read the complete review

Carrie is a classic, there's no denying it. It has been regarded as one for quite a long time. It stood well on it's own and finished off nicely, when you see it you may think, there's no way they can make a sequel to this, but you'd be wrong. You then may think Carrie's a bit out dated so a revamp may do it some good, you were wrong again. Carrie 2 is about Rachel, some relation to Carrie, who's mum is in a mental home. She has one best friend who killed herself because she was raped(if you ask me she read the script and jumped) and now she is being harrassed by the local football team because they think she knows the truth about what ...
