Advantages: THE ROCK V HOGAN

Disadvantages: A couple of matches aren't great

THE ROCK - THE MOST ELECTRIFYING MAN IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT is a DVD that focuse son one of the most iconic figures to ever step foot in a WWE ring.
Now a Hollywood actor The Rock made his name in the WWF as a third generation superstar. He started as Rocky Maivia after his family name then quite simply became The Rock or The Brahma Bull and The People's Champion.
This DVD features some of his most memorable promos and 19 of his matches. I will provide the highlights of the DVD.

ROCKY MAIVIA V TRIPLE H - INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP
A good match between two young superstars and the first match on th DVD. A back and forth match on RAW with lots of good technical wrestling and physicality.

THE ROCK V MANKIND - LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
This match was made famous as it featured on a documentary. The winner had to put his opponent down for ten seconds. A really brutal match that went all around the arena and featured many weapons. The shots both men took were very hard and this was physicality at it's best.

THE ROCK V KURT ANGLE
No Way Out was where this match took place for the championship. A crowd that was hot for The Rock watched a wrestling classic where both men really worked hard. Great technical wrestling and a very fast paced finish.

THE ROCK V STONE COLD
This was the last ever match between the two even though this DVD features a few of their matches this is my favourite. The chemistry between the two wrestlers is great and the crowd never know who will win when these two wrestle. Both use each other's moves and the action is relentles. Great match.

THE ROCK V HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN
This match took place at Wrestlemania and was a match nobody thought they would ever see. The greatest of the 80's and noneties against the greatest of now. The crowd actually turned against the Rock and were supporting Hogan. The crowd was the most electric I've ever heard a wrestling crowd at. A really good match which told a great story.

There are many other great matches on the DVD with the Rock facing wrestlers such as The Undertaker, Kane, Owen Hart and Shane McMahon to name a few.

There are also many of The Rock's legendary promos which are so funny and well delivered. His attacks at Stephanie McMahon are especially hillarious. The Rock proved why he was probably the best talker in the business.

With over nine hours of action, with a 15 viewing certificate and avaliable from AMAZON at £17.98 this is as entertaining a DVD as you are likely to see, "If you smell what the Rok is cooking!"
