 ... essentially that Frankie Howerd's character is a bus driver, and due to foggy condition, he must take a bus of air passengers via road from one airport to the next. The consequences are quite hilarious, although a few of the best scenes were unfortuately cut from the DVD version. Another note regarding the difference between the original and the DVD version is the quality of the film, which to be honest is not grate on the DVD. Well, what a shame, is all I can say! Okay I can say more... The original of this film I saw years ago on TV, and it was pretty good, led by Frankie Howerd in one of (if not THE) earliest performances of his career (the film was released originally in 1954). I was keen to see the film based on his being in it, and because it also has Margaret Rutherford, one of my favourite actresses in it too. The plot is essentially that Frankie Howerd's character is a bus driver, and due to foggy condition, he must take a bus of air passengers via road from one airport to the next.
