With euthanasia in the news right now after this English paraplegic lad was taken to Switzerland by his parents to be the latest to be effectively put down at his own request there, the Oscar winning Sea Inside is a multi-award winning movie that explores that legal point of people having the right to determine ones own death on quality of life grounds. Based on a true story, 'The Sea Inside' plays out that scenario in drama form, the always excellent Javier Bardem and the emotive Spanish/Catholic narrative making this more emotive and passionate in that exquisite way Latin films seem to do, this winning best 'Best Foreign Language Film' at the 2005 Oscars ...
