Advantages: Funny, the Simpsons

Disadvantages: Could be a little bit better

The Simpsons Movie is like a longer, better version of one of the normal Simpsons episodes on the TV. The Simpsons Movie came out in 2007 and was written by Matt Groening and James Brooks and is rated a PG-13 and runs for approximately 87 minutes and was a must see when it originally came out!

The movie has the same great characters from the show and all the Springfield residents. The story involves the lake is becoming over polluted from all the rubbish everyone is dumping in it! Everyone is given a warning and told they are not allowed to dump anything in the lake. Everyone understands except for Homer who dumps his new friend, Spider Pig`s droppings in the lake! His actions have major consequences for the rest of Springfield and the Simpsons family and causes the government to trap Springfield in a dome and the whole of Springfield turns on the Simpsons family.

The movie is good because it is very funny and some of my favourite scenes involve Spider Pig, Homer`s new friend and a skating scene at the start of the movie involving Bart which is my favourite scene in the whole movie. I think this movie is a worthy addition to the famous Simpsons series and includes some very funny moments and is better than the usual TV episodes and would say that if you have not seen it already you should watch it! The animation is actually a little better than in the normal episodes and I think a little more time and money has been invested into them!

Overall the movie is better than I expected it to be and is worth watching if you had not already watched the film. I think it is a good watch for the whole family so I give it 4 stars.

The DVD costs £3.98 from Amazon which makes it well worth buying if you have not already seen the Simpsons!
