Advantages: Understated genius
Disadvantages: Don't let anyone tell you the ending
Sixth sense is a movie starring Bruce Willis, and is based around a psychologist trying to relieve a small child on his fears, the child believes he can see ghosts and that they talk to him. The film sounds of very scary and has the potential to go overboard with special effects. This film could very well go the wrong way and frighten everybody who watches it. Sixth sense is in actual fact a very complex movie, and whatever you do please don't let anyone tell you the ending before you see it. Because I thougt this film was very scary I avoided watching it, in the end someone told me what happened up the end of movie so I decided to watch it when it came out on video. What it very big mistake! I now wish I never knew what happened in the end, don't worry I will try not to give the game away so is not to spoil it for anyone else. The film is very very well made, Bruce willis is very good in the movie the young boy he whose name escapes me should have won the Oscar this year. The special effects do not go overboard and the film was not in the slightest bit scary either. OK, so the film had a few moments where you jumped a little but nothing that would give you nightmares. Toni Collet, the child's mother played it very understated and perhaps she should have been nominated for an Oscar too. If you know the ending when you sit down to watch this film, you'll see all the tell tale signs that give away the ending which if you don't know what happens do not appear to be the slightest bit obvious. Go see the film, rent it on video or even by the D V D.
