This has to be the most popular movie/musical of all time. A true story based on the Trapp family of singers. Julie Andrews (MARIA) stars as the spirited, young Austrian woman studying to take her religious vows. Her mother Superior arranges for her to become a governess to the Von Trapp children. She soon brings warmth and music to the strict household and wins over the affection of the children and the baron as well.
The musical is filled with classic songs such as DO-RE-ME, CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN, MY FAVOURITE THINGS, EDELWEISS, and many more.
The sound of music is a timeless classic that can be watched over and over.
