The Story of O is a classic novel of erotic literature. Obscene, beautiful and without a hint of vulgarity, it stands as one of the pearls produced by the Olympia Press in Paris is the ‘60s. Detailing the sado-masochistic journey of O, the otherwise nameless heroine, as she strives to give herself completely to her lovers. If you’ve never read any SM fiction than this is an excellent place to start, (along with The Image, another title published by Olympia).
