New Moon was a film that was filled with anticipation, in my view it failed to reach the high standards set upon it.
Bella(the lovestruck human) and Edward(the broody vampire) are still together, yet in this film Edward decides to leave with his family and no longer hold Bella in the path of danger, this obviously destroys Bella and it is up to her old faithful friend Jacob to bring her heart back to life.
After a few months it seems despite the few hiccups Bella suffers eg jumping off a cliff, things are improving but when this certain dare devil move is seen by Alice(through her visions), Edward takes matters into his own hands under the belief that Bella is dead.
He goes to Italy to seek his end from the Volturi, Bella is found by Alice and after a heated conversation they head to Italy to save Edward from his unnecessary end.

I won't tell you the ending, I'll leave that down to anyone who wishes to have their own opinion.

While I found the book great, the film lacked any good action and was a disappointment.

Advantage:
-Good story line behind the acting.
-Made some boring bits, interesting.
-When I bought this film it was of reasonable price.

Disadvantages:
-Doesn't properly show the emotion that is supposed to be conveyed.
-Some 'dramatic' parts were very boring.
-Others share my opinion.
