A scary movie with a twist (The Uninvited (DVD))

Advantages: Good storyline

Disadvantages: Expensive on blu-ray

This is not your typical horror film.....why? you ask, let me explain (without going into too much detail, not wanting to spoil the film) It starts off like any other horror, full of twists and turns, fairly predicatable, until BOOM, the film takes a totally different direction! It is a story about a young girl (Emily Browning - The Man Who Sued God)who's mom was killed in a fire, supposedly, an accident. Then, along comes the new step mom (Elizabeth Banks - Spiderman 3 And Scrubs) to take care of her with her dad (David Strathairn - The Bourne Ultimatum) and let's just say, from there, it's not a gentle ride. I really rate this film because of its originality. The cast really gelled well together and gave convincing performances. This film is out on DVDS now on blue-ray for £27, although i'm sure you'll find it cheaper online soon.

Summary: Top film, definately recommended!
