When I saw that the Usual Suspects was available for as little as £1.50 on Amazon I had to buy it. Its a superb film, that has a brilliant twist at the end. If you have not seen this film then waste no time and but it now, you won't be disappointed.

~~PLOT~~
Five thieves are employed to steal a large shpment of cocain. They are reluctant at first, but soon realise that it is worth their while. The story is told through a series of flashbacks, where one of the thieves is explaining the events to the detecttive in charge.

~~OPINION~~
When I saw this film available for such a low price I couldn't believe my luck. However, so much of the brilliance of this film lies behind the twist. And like with all twists, if you know whats coming its nowhere near as fun or compelling. I watched the film again and didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I did first time round.

The castig for this film is superb. Kevin Spacey is brilliant. Its hard to imagine anyone else taking on this role. I also enjoy the performance of Stephen Baldwin, who plays a 'shoot first ask questions later' guy. The only actor who I am not entirely convinced about is Gabriel Byrne . I have never really been a fan of this man and think that his acting skills are a little one dimensionally. Its a shame, as his character is in it a lot.

That aside, this is an excellent film to watch first time round, I recommend it for anyone who has not watch it. Four out of five Dooyoo stars.
