Advantages: One of the greatest films ever.

Disadvantages: Nothing at all.

This review is for the specail edition of this movie that at the time of writing was not yet released in the uk.

The usual suspects always appears in the top ten best film lists, and with good reason.It is one of the intrically crafted films ever, every scene contains hints to the ending that you notice a different one everytime you watch it is a testiment to the direction of Bryan Singer.

The story follows five criminals brought together for a police line up, who then decide to perform a 'job' together although one is trying to go straight.All the time though the stings are being pulled by the mysterious Keyser soze.An ensamble cast including Kevin Spacey and Gabril Byrne bring this fantastic movie to life with terrific performences but as with all the greatest films it is the screenplay that is the real star.

This new special edition boasts a set of extras that unlike most dvds are worthy of such a great film.

The film in either 4x3 or 16x9 with a new 5.1 sound mix.
Two commentarys one with director and screenwriter,one with the films editor.
Deleted scenes with intros.
3 great featuretts
"hesting cannes with the usual suspects" featurette.

Gag real.

All extras are very intreasting with the featurettes being the best so far on any dvd.

But the greatest trick the usual suspects ever pulled is that after many, many viewings is anyone really sure as is to who actually Keyser Soze is?.
