If ever one sitcom was a one-man show then it has to be Rising Damp.Leonard Rossiters thrifty land lord has to be the funniest character along with Del Boy ever. Rigsbys appeal like Del Boy is in his vulnerability and mannerism’s that proves he’s a natural clown as well as a comedy genius. If you here that familiar signature tune you can’t help but tune in to see if it’s as funny the twentieth time you saw it. Richard Beckinsale is again the lethargic type in the longhaired student over the shorthaired convict.
