Tuning on the TV on Friday night sometime after midnight I came across The X Files movie from 1998 and having watched most of it on Tele I decided to watch it again on DVD. Now having been a big fan of the show since it started, I had seen the film at the cinema but it has been a while since I last watched it. So rather than go to sleep at a half reasonable hour I decided to stay up and watch the whole film. Now as the series seem to fade away towards the end, the film I find is as good on it's own even if it hadn't been linked into the series. Since then in the USA, the studio has improved their dvd output and have decided to re-release the ... Read the complete review

However, looking at the special features involved in the DVD were less likely of me to buy it. The only additional extras that you get is the movie can now be displayed in DTS, which is supposed to be better sound, though I have noticed some DVD Players don't allow DTS and instead of good quality sound give you no sound at all. Secondly, the delete scenes. Wow, deleted scenes. And that's it, roughly. So if you wanna see delete scenes, then go for this, otherwise I suggest the original ... Read the complete review
