I was a relative latecomer to the series, my mum deciding it a little 'too scary for me' as I was growing up - it wasn't until the beginning of the sixth series when I began to watch the show regularly, and became very hooked, making sure to watch every episode until the final one in 2002, the end of the ninth series.
