Advantages: Visually pleasing

At last one of Disney's most iconic characters gets a movie all of her own!

TinkerBell the Movie tells us the tale of how Tink came to be, it's her prequel to Peter Pan. Tink lives in pixie hollow and is designated to be a tinker fairy, which are the fairies that make teapot and other such dull objects. Tink dreams of a more glamorous role and so the film unrolls as she tries to become something that she isn't... Yeah you guessed it moral tale ensues...We are what we are! It wouldn't be Disney without the moral tale and of course we love it.

So how is the film? Well I watched it with my two young nieces and both were enthralled, even the pre-teen! I myself was brought up on the beautiful Disney's such as Beauty and the Beast and this film didn't disappoint me.
Visually it was beautiful-Disney at its best. It's colourful and fanciful and carries the watcher away to a magical land, no matter your age!
The storyline is simplistic and predictable but then what else can you expect in a child's film. None the less I didn't get bored and certainly enjoyed it. To me the only thing that could have improved it really was some catchy Disney singing :)
Really though, take the film as what it is- a visually pleasing, simplistic yet entertaining kids film. Still I loved it at 25!!
