Titanic is perhaps one of the most touching romantic films i have seen. It stars Kate Winslet as lovely Rose who is upper class and Leonardo Di Capro who stars as Jack a fun loving lower class civilian.
They both board the titanic on it's way to America. It is called unsinkable but when the ship hits an iceberg, it soons starts to prove that fact wrong.
Rose is meant to be getting married to an upper class man (played by Billy Zane) and doesn't really have a choice as her and her mother have been left debts by her father and marrying a rich man is the only way to pay them off. Rose breaks off the marriage as she realises she loves Jack whilst the ship is sinking.
The ship is chaotic whilst everyone is trying to get on a boat and save their families.
The story is recounted by a 101-year-old Rose in the present times and the film is her memories.
The storyline is unique and believable and the casting was perfect. This film probably was the making of Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet and won countless awards. Probably one of the most successful films of all time.
