Top Gun (Blu-ray)

The Blu-ray version of Top Gun comes with tons of extras that fans of the movie will love. These include four music videos that were made for the film. Interviews with Tom Cruise, behind the scenes feature, the making of Top Gun, and more! Picture (1080p) and sound are both breathtaking. I watched it on a Sony KDL 32" LCD TV. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the audio. It comes with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 in English. Other languages are in French and Spanish but are only DD 5.1. Top Gun is a highly successful iconic cheesy 80's classic and I think I can safely assume that most people are familiar with the story. However, for those who don't know the film here's a quick summary: Tom Cruise plays a pilot called Maverick, who attends an elite Naval flying school called Top Gun with his buddy Goose, played by Anthony Edwards.
