Advantages: very watchable

Disadvantages: A very short scene that could be a little scary for some young children

I have had this film in my house for 2 years, it has been replayed over and over again by my two little boys now aged 2 and 4 years old. They both watch it all the way through from start to finish, (often twice if i were to allow it!). As a parent i would also very happily sit and watch this film with my children, unlike with some films, i would not tire of watching Buzz & Woody on their adventure and growing friendship.

I feel that this story covers some important issues that can openly be discussed with my young children encouraging interesting discussion; touching upon more complex life topics, including: friendship, inclusion, diversity, adventure, reality, good and bad people and dogs.

Also, on the lighter, not so serious side, this film is very colourful, eye catching and funny, with a lovely story, attractive and lovable characters.

I would say this film is good value for money and a must have for any child's film collection.
