Trainspotting, What an amazing film! I bought this Blu-ray version a few weeks ago in HMV for the bargain price of £14, I only got round to watching this the other night and I'd forgotten just how great it is! Trainspotting is directed by Danny Boyle, who went on to direct the hits 28 Days Later & Slumdog Millionaire. His directing style is great and this was the film that really kick-started his career! It's easy to see why when you watch this film! The movie is taken from the book of the same name by cult author Irvine Welsh and having read the book myself, I think it is a great adaptation of a great novel.
