Advantages: 30-40 robots, Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, special effects

Disadvantages: Repetitive fighting (Get into trouble-get out of trouble).

The sequel to a breath taking film although the special effects are visually stunning and to be honest your eyes are every where trying to capture every second of action. The film like many sequels in my opinion was not as good as the first, yes the film offers the viewer a chance to see 30-40 gigantic robots beating each other senseless and theres more explosions than in world war 2. But after an hour of robot action, get into trouble get out of trouble storyline I did find myself looking at my watch see what time it was.
Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox continue to impress thoughout as their on screen relationship takes on new challenges. They do bring some creditability back to the film as they work very well together.
The plot for the 2nd transformers film sees the return of the decepticons as they return to take their revenge . Only sam, Mikaela and the autobots can prevent this happening as the story unfolds across the world from Shanghai to Egypt.
Overall it was watchable and I don't think they could have done anymore or put anymore robots in the plot but the impact/wow factor was not the same as the first release.

Summary: Watchable, special effects are good but loses wow factor quickly
