Trouble Man (DVD)

Trouble Man is another of those blaxpoitation films that tries to cash in on the more successful ones by being more violent with less plot. Paul Winfield is a good enough actor and does his best, but even he cannot save the dire ending and the weak villains. The music however, is first rate, and was Marvin Gaye's only foray into the world of movie soundtracks. Like most of these Blaxpoitation efforts, the music is the only noteworthy item to crop up, and here is no exception.
