Disadvantages: A bit dull at times

Tru Calling sees Eliza Dushku' first break away from being known as Faith, the Dark Slayer, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Tru is a young beautiful, intelligent, woman who works in a morgue. As if that wasn't enough, every so often, when a corpse is brought in, it speaks to her. And so Tru is taken back again and again to the day of their death to try and save this unfortunate person. So, she strives to know as much as she can abpout each dead body that is brought into the morgue, just in case it is the one that asks for her help. At the same time she has to help both her brother and sister with their slightly less supernatural problems.

Some of these individual stories are not as exciting as you would expect and the general premise in the first season can sometimes feel dull. However, this series was cancelled just as it got interesting and more strange elements to Tru's power were introduced.
