Advantages: Film about vampires which isn't scarly

Disadvantages: Bit slow

Firstly, this is a DVD created after the success of books and the target audience is the same as the book - young teenaged girls. With the male lead being HOT in the eyes of young girls.

This film is a vampire but do not be scared. It is not a horror. The pace of the film is actually quite SLOW. Forget about seeing blood as there isn't really that much. It is a teen romantic film which follows a young girl, Belle, as she moves to a small town and falls for the odd-one out in a family of weirdos. Weird because they are all meant to be unnaturally good looking.

So if its a teen romantic film. Can men watch it? Men who aren't teenaged? Of course. The action scenes are not until the end and the film can be a little sllllooooowwwww for many older men's taste. But can be enjoyable film to watch with all the family who are over the age of 12.

Summary: Good, watchable film for anyone - not just teenaged girls.
