Advantages: can't really think of any!

Disadvantages: Poor acting, basic special effects

There are lots of reviews on here about the story so in summary:

girl fancies boy; boy fancies girl ;small problem boy is vampire; bad vampires try to attack girl story ends happyish

To be honest I had read the book and found it disappointing (see earlier review). But this as a film I found even weaker - at least with the book I had really enjoyed the second half of the book. The film I found really bland, the acting wasn't wonderful and some of the special effects really weren't very special.

I know I'm not the teenage girl audience that the film is aimed at but if I'm going to be made to sit through th efilm by my teenage I daughter I at least desrve decent acting!!.

I really thought the cast didn't really reflect the characters in the book, with exception of the actress playing Alice. There was none of the menace that was present in the book and the way they missed out the whole point of Carlisle's existence was shameful!

I'm never a great fan of watching movies of books I have read as inevitably you are disppointed - but this disappointed more than most.

Summary: Not agreat film but probably loved by teenage girls
