Advantages: A Love Story with a big old BITE

Let me get this straight. I hate werewolves and vampires, I dont like Edward Cullen, I hate 'crazes' (Harry Potter, Hannah Montana, Lord of the Rings). Therefore for almost a year I have refrained from watching Twilight.

Until Last Week. My girlfriend talked me in to watching it and I relented. Wow am I glad I did. It is one of the sexiest and most absorbing films I have ever seen.

It begins with Bella moving back with her father. She spies the unusual Cullen family and questions her new friends about them. The general consensus is that they are strange and best avoided. However, curiosity gets the better of her and she begins to fall deep in to the mystery of Edward Cullen.

The story centres around the star-crossed lovers and the barriers they face as human and vampire. It is enchanting, watching them fall for each other, despite the fact they cant even kiss without Edward feeling hunger for Bella's blood.

In a completely climatic ending, Bella asks Edward to take her and sire her into one of his kind - but will he take her mortal existance? I guess you will just have to relent as I did and watch the movie, I guarantee you wont regret it, I cannot wait for New Moon, which is out in November.

I suppose the main reason why I enjoyed this film is that the relationship between Bella and Edward is incredibly enchanting, you feel as though you are in the film with them, and you will them to come together. Its a love story in a film which you dont expect to happen, they are an unlikely pair and it really is a feel good movie, incorporating the violence and bloodshed of a vampire action flick! Even the blossoming relationship Bella finds herself entering into with her father is great, as he is previously estranged from her mother, and so delighted to have her home.

I heart Edward Cullen :-*
