Romance and Vampires? It really does work! (Twilight [2008] (DVD))

Advantages: You get to see Edward Cullen!!

Disadvantages: Its a film you will watch time and time again which may make your partner annoyed!

Basic storyline: Bella moves in with her dad in a little town called Forks, and on her first day in school she sees the most beautiful group of people she has ever seen in her life: The Cullen family. She gets talking to Edward (after a few setbacks!) then starts to notice strange things happening. She clicks on quite soon that he is a vampire, but instead of this making her scared, she becomes even more intrigued by him, and they both fall quickly in love with each other. Edward would do anything to protect Bella ...... I'm not going to say anymore because I don't want to ruin it for you!

After reading the book, I was ooh'ing and ahh'ing over whether to watch the movie as I was worried that the film would ruin the storyline and spoil the twilight saga for me. However, I took the plunge and bought it from Morrisons (only £6.99!!!).

When I got in from work, the little one and my partner were in bed, so settled down to watch it with a bag of minstrels! There was no need for me to worry about the film at all! The director did a brilliant job in bringing the book alive (no pun intended!). After watching the film I felt all giddy like a lovesick teenager and wished that I was Bella and I had my Edward Cullen, then went upstairs to go to bed and found my partner lying there with his mouth wide open snoring and thought 'where did it all go wrong?!' The motto of this: try to watch it if you're partner's not going to be around, they might just ruin the mood!

All in all I'm sooo glad that I watched the film. The actors really look like they have a connection which helps us believe the romance. I would recommend anyone of any age to watch this.

Summary: A great film, and can't wait until the next 3 movie releases!
