Advantages: Horror movie... hello!

Disadvantages: Crap killer is exposed

This is one of the new generation of horror movies that isn't quite in the same league as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, mainly because of the killer, who is of course revealed at the end... well I won't tell you who the killer is but it is disappointing. It's strange how one small thing, like the identity of the killer, can ruin a perfectly good movie.

You'll watch, love the death scenes, enjoy the plot, shout "lock the bloody door!" and then see the killer and think, 'how in the hell could that thing kill all those people - yeah right!'. In fact I'd say the killer was the killer simply so you wouldn't guess that was the killer. All confusing I know but hey, what can you expect from a teen-flick about someone murdering people and making it look like 'urban legends'?

Urban Legend? I hear you. Well that's a story that you hear about, like the person who found a rat bone in their McDonalds, but you never witness or know where it came from. Such nasty urban legends in this film are 'the one with the animal in the microwave' and 'the one where a killer is in the back seat of your car'! Still fun and funky, just not scary enough.

yeah, i agree with you. i wouldve thought the killer would have been some one else with a better motive! and yes again..not as good and funny in a sarcastic way like Scream. But then again..that opening sequence with the killer in the back seat did send sharp chills down my spine!
